Archipiélago de E.U.A. en Alaska, formado por unas 150 islas volcánicas entre Asia y América; unos 17 666 km2. Administrativamente dependen del estado de Alaska. Sus habitantes (unos 8 057) son afines a los esquimales. Territorio escarpado y casi estéril, zona de reserva de animales marinos y de zorros.
